Missions

The Out Of The Box Class will be going on a mission trip to Big Stone Gap, VA delivering Baby Items for the people of this region. They will be hosted by the Appalachian Ministries of the Carolinas. Please pray as they travel to share God’s Love one Baby Item at a time.

We are getting things ready for the next mission trip to the Appalachian Mountain Region. This year we are going to Bethesda Church of God in Big Stone Gap, VA.  We have partnered with this local church in the past and also continue to help support their local food ministry.  Our group is looking forward to ministering in this community and surrounding areas for a “Day of Blessings” sharing God’s Word and items of need for the communities. 
 
Our Ministry Team will set up in the sanctuary with sharing The Word, singing, music and puppets.  After the service our guest will proceed to the give away “Day of Blessings”.  This will consist of coats, shoes, socks, caps, gloves, diaper bags, diapers, school supplies, snack bags for the children.  New blankets for everyone attending and non perishable food items for every family attending.   There will also be a hot lunch served to all of our guest during the day.  The Day of Blessings will be on October 18th, 2014.
