EXAMINE YOUR HEART
Taking Heart In The Face Of Fear
I. Jesus calls us to take heart in the face of death.
1. We face fear at the thought of death.
2. Jesus promises an eternal home in heaven.
II. Jesus calls us to take heart in the face of judgment.
1. We face fear at the idea of judgment.
2. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we receive acceptance.
III. Jesus calls us to take heart in the face of loneliness.
1. Loneliness creates isolation in our lives.
2. Isolation causes depression in our lives.
3. As a Christian, we are never alone.
IV. Jesus calls us to take heart in the face of fear.
1. Fear is not of God.
2. Fear devastates faith.
3. Faith always destroys fear.
V. Jesus calls us to take heart in the face of trouble.
1. We face fear because of the troubles we experience in life.
2. Jesus has overcome the world.
Challenge: Instead of allowing your fears to destroy and devastate your life,
trust God and His promises to overcome your fears and give you the victory.
