Morning Worship – 71 Present
- Jesus provided them proof of the resurrection. (Acts 1:3)
- It would be important that they had no doubts about the resurrection.
1 Corinthians 15:14
- The proof is infallible. (Acts 1:3)
- The followers were so convinced that they became an irresistible force.
- Jesus provided the power to carry out their assignment. (Acts 1:8)
Acts 2:1-4
III. Jesus provided the confidence that He would return and there was a home in Heaven waiting for them.
(Acts 1:11)
- This confidence in heaven would cause the disciples to live fearlessly for Christ.
John 14:1-3
Conclusion:
- The infallible proof of Jesus’ resurrection, the power for daily living and the promise of a future with Jesus in Heaven enables the believer to live victoriously in a fallen world.
